Abstract

Aim.To reveal problematic situations in education involving its digitization. The analysis of the impact the pandemic has on distance learning.

Methodology. A qualitative analysis of the digitalization process has been carried out with the use of data from domestic and foreign research, including its influence on the organization of the teacher’s work, as well as students’ results satisfaction. The following methods were used: comparison and generalization, content analysis and statistical methods.

Results. The results of this study helped us conclude that the necessity of urgent digitalization in education due to the pandemic has aggravated a few negative points: insufficient forethought of digital services; emotional exhaustion and lack of unity between workers and students; reduced opportunities for creative activities.

Research implications. The necessity of developing hybrid methods of teaching was substantiated. These forms would combine online communication and lessons in class. Suggestions were formulated on the personification of students’ educational trajectories on the basis of digital technologies.
