ON SOME MARXIST AND NEOCLASSICAL THEORY OF VALUE THEOREMS

Abstract

The author proves that the initial defi nition
of price of Marxs theory of value should be replaced
by «formula» of price in monetary economy model as
it shows the correlation between «equilibrium prices or
average prices in various branches and values or prices
of production. The article compares the defi nitions of
forms of interrelations of demand in Marxist and neoclassical
theory of value and the author makes a conclusion
that Marxs theory offers more realistic description
of the given interrelations than neoclassical theory.
