PREMISES AND PROBLEMS OF CREATING THE FAR EAST INTERNATIONAL CENTER TO PROVIDE SERVICES OF COORDINATING DOMESTIC AND TRANSIT FREIGHT FLOWS

Abstract

The Far East is the strategic region of the Russian Federation. The experience of economically developed countries all over the world shows that by profiting from its favorable location a region can gain considerable advantages for its economy and residents. The success is launched in the coordinating role of the state, specific business conditions and availability of a centre which coordinates and manages domestic and transit freight flows, etc. Creating such a center in the Far East could become the major factor of the region's economic development.
