Current status and perspectives of development of Russian aircraft industry

Abstract

This article describes relevant issues characterising current status of Russian
aircraft industry and evaluates perspectives of its development. At this moment the process
of sectors capital assets consolidation is completing, the biggest corporations are created and
their production programs are aimed at priority directions of Russian aircraft industry. The
importance of chosen theme is conditioned on the role which aircraft industry takes in forming
scientific and economic potential of the country.
