Abstract

Aim. The article is devoted to the study of simulation tools in the management of the development of an industrial enterprise as a mechanism for optimizing production processes and increasing economic efficiency.

Methodology. In the course of the study, the tools of simulation modeling in the decision-making process in the management of enterprise development were studied. The methodological basis was the methods of modeling economic systems, management theory and decision theory.

Results. In this article, the authors conducted a theoretical study, as a result of which simulation modeling is considered as a real tool for managing the development of an enterprise. Simulation modeling is presented as an effective system research tool that allows you to create a digital model that reproduces the functioning processes of the structural composition of a real system, and also allows you to conduct computational experiments by changing significant parameters of the model.

Research implications. The conclusions and recommendations obtained in the course of the study make it possible to improve the efficiency and quality of managerial decision-making, as well as the competitiveness of an industrial enterprise due to the advantages arising from the use of information technology.
