Problems of improving the quality of veterinary services in the Russian Federation

Abstract
Aim. Research on ways to improve the quality of veterinary services in the Russian Federation.
Methodology. The research methodology is based on the methods of induction and deduction, content analysis of documents, nominal groups, analysis, comparison and some others.
Results. The peculiarities of the provision of veterinary services to pets are revealed, the requirements for the growth of the quality of services aimed at improving the efficiency of the industry are determined.
Research implications lies in the fact that the presence in this area of two subjects of receiving services – owners of small pets (customers) and the animals themselves (patients), determines special requirements for veterinary clinics. In addition to evaluating the quality of the medical component and evaluating the comfort of your pet’s stay in the clinic, the following are also evaluated: cleanliness in the clinic; availability of modern medical equipment; convenience of the waiting area; parking for a car, and others.
