MODERN APPROACHES TO UNDERSTANDING THE ESSENCE OF PRODUCTION AND RESOURCE POTENTIAL OF THE SANATORIUM-RESORT SECTOR

Abstract

Aim. To study the theoretical foundations of the resource and production potential of the sanatorium-resort industry (SRI), as well as the allocation of the main components of the resource potential of the SRI. Methodology. The study considered the conceptual apparatus and characteristic of the resource and production potentials of the sanatorium and resort industry. The main method of studying the problem is analysis and synthesis. Results. From the position of the SRI as the ability to perform a certain technological process and generate the required results, it is proposed to structurally divide it into: medical natural-climatic, material-technical, personnel, financial. The progressive evolution and management of the SRI is largely determined by the size and optimal operation of its production and resource potential. Research implications. A scientific and methodological apparatus has been developed to increase the efficiency of the formed resource potential of the sanatorium and resort industry and the quality of sanatorium and resort services.
