IMPORT SUBSTITUTION AS ONE OF THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT IN RUSSIA (BY EXAMPLE OF THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION)
Abstract
The article considers some tendencies in the development of Russian manufacturing industry in general, and the Nizhny Novgorod Region in particular, under the conditions of foreign sanctions and the declared course on import substitution. The analysis of the costs of technological innovations of organizations is carried out for the types of innovative activity. On the basis of the conducted research the author made proposals concerning the overall development of manufacturing industry and implementation of the import substitution program.
