Actual Problems in the Implementation of State Regional Policy and Ways to Solve Them (On the Example of the Moscow Region)

Aim. Analysis of the implementation of actual problems of state regional policy.

Methodology. The article discusses and analyzes regional problems in the Russian Federation in state regional policy implementation. The authors explain the causes of regional inequality in the country based on the works of well-known scientists and experts. Modern approaches of executive authorities in solving socio-economic problems, as well as regional infrastructure development programs are presented, problems and ways of solving them are identified on the example of Moscow region. When conducting the research, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparative analysis were used.

Results. The study revealed positive trends in the development of regions, but innovative approaches in management are being slowly introduced, which affects the standard of living of the population.

Research Implications. The results of the study contribute to the development of the theory and practice of public and municipal administration and can be used in the subjects of the Russian Federation for practical application.
