ECONOMIC THEORY
Aim. Comprehensive analysis of the level and quality of life of the population as a socio-economic category of the welfare of society.
Methodology. Bibliographic, quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis are used.
Results. Wages are showing steady growth, confirming the increasing dependence of the population on this source of income. The increase in government payments in 2020 is associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. A regression in the profitability of entrepreneurship is recorded, reflecting the economic difficulties of small and medium-sized businesses. Property revenues peaked in 2020.
Research implications. The theoretical significance of this work lies in the enrichment and development of existing scientific approaches to the analysis of socio-economic changes and living standards of the population. The practical component is expressed in the development of recommendations aimed at forming a social strategy to improve the living conditions of the population.
Aim. To present an analysis of cyclical fluctuations from the middle of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century in the USSR and the Russian Federation. To identify the causes of the deep crisis of the Russian medium-term cycle in the 1990s.
Methodology. Research of economic trends in Russia, determination of the characteristics of the cycle and its phases through analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison, identification of trends and description of trends.
Results. Twelve-year phases in thirty-six-year cycles have been determined. The crisis of the 1990s is a long-lasting single long-term economic cycle in Russia, including medium-term cycles and cycles of transition processes that form a new model of the country’s economic growth. The disinvestment and reconstructive medium-term cycles are identified and characterized.
Research implications. Economic cycles from the middle of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century are characterized and evaluated. The asynchrony of the cyclicity of Russia with similar cycles of other countries is highlighted. The characteristics and features of the phases of the cycles of Russia are presented.

The development and implementation of methods for effective interaction of specialists from various services in the management segment of internal control, as a way to ensure economic security by reducing financial risks, involves the identification, measurement, assessment, prevention or mitigation of the consequences of these risks.
Aim. To identify the impact of control methods on the ability to manage financial risks in the context of coordination of actions of specialists from various services that ensure the economic security of companies.
Methodology. The study discusses theoretical and practical approaches to this topic, arising from the scope of the thematic problem itself. The choice of methods was focused on achieving the goal set in the study. Methods of observation, aggregation and identification of links between sources of scientific and practical data by methods of analysis and synthesis of published studies available to us have been widely used.
Results. The study revealed the logical structure of financial risk management based on the interaction of accounting specialists with specialists ensuring economic security, considering the coordination of actions in the implementation of internal control functions by specialists from various services, including accounting.
Research implications. The research presents the sequence of determining the stages that, in the process of developing the process of internal control of financial risks, allow them to determine the objects and subjects of control in the business process focused on ensuring economic security, as well as to identify the points of their interaction, which can be considered as a direction for future research.
Aim. To analyze the activities of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region and propose ways to improve their competitiveness.
Methodology. The research is based on the concept of a systematic approach, through which an integrated approach was carried out to study the state of activity of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region. The authors used a number of general scientific methods (in particular, analysis and synthesis, comparison, etc.). As part of the work with statistical data, a tabular method, statistical and comparative analysis were used, on the basis of which directions for improving the competitiveness of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region are presented. Additionally, design and logical methods were used, as well as the generalization method.
Results. The dynamics of the main performance indicators of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region is defined by the authors as positive. The state of the tourist resources of the Vladimir region is considered as components of the formation of a unique tourist offer of specialized accommodation facilities in the region. The directions of increasing the competitiveness of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region are determined and their importance is justified.
Research implications. It consists in revealing the potential of specialized accommodation facilities in the Vladimir region in application to the current economic reality and determining the prospects for its development using the tourist resources of the region.
Aim. The article is devoted to the study of simulation tools in the management of the development of an industrial enterprise as a mechanism for optimizing production processes and increasing economic efficiency.
Methodology. In the course of the study, the tools of simulation modeling in the decision-making process in the management of enterprise development were studied. The methodological basis was the methods of modeling economic systems, management theory and decision theory.
Results. In this article, the authors conducted a theoretical study, as a result of which simulation modeling is considered as a real tool for managing the development of an enterprise. Simulation modeling is presented as an effective system research tool that allows you to create a digital model that reproduces the functioning processes of the structural composition of a real system, and also allows you to conduct computational experiments by changing significant parameters of the model.
Research implications. The conclusions and recommendations obtained in the course of the study make it possible to improve the efficiency and quality of managerial decision-making, as well as the competitiveness of an industrial enterprise due to the advantages arising from the use of information technology.
Aim. Research on ways to improve the quality of veterinary services in the Russian Federation.
Methodology. The research methodology is based on the methods of induction and deduction, content analysis of documents, nominal groups, analysis, comparison and some others.
Results. The peculiarities of the provision of veterinary services to pets are revealed, the requirements for the growth of the quality of services aimed at improving the efficiency of the industry are determined.
Research implications lies in the fact that the presence in this area of two subjects of receiving services – owners of small pets (customers) and the animals themselves (patients), determines special requirements for veterinary clinics. In addition to evaluating the quality of the medical component and evaluating the comfort of your pet’s stay in the clinic, the following are also evaluated: cleanliness in the clinic; availability of modern medical equipment; convenience of the waiting area; parking for a car, and others.
Aim. The purpose of the study is to consider the possibility of using a cognitive approach in seaport management.
Methodology. The method of cognitive modeling was used to construct a cognitive map of the effective functioning of the port, methods of system analysis in the selection and systematization of factors and indicators of the effective functioning of the port, and the theory of the scenario approach.
Results. A cognitive map of the effective functioning of the port was constructed based on a set of collected indicators. The modeling procedure is the identification of cause-and-effect relationships for the reactive and proactive establishment of trends, the accumulation of theoretical and practical knowledge and the development of practical recommendations on this basis. An algorithm for cognitive modeling of the effective functioning of the port is presented based on the use of the scenario approach theory based on a selected set of indicators.
Research implications. The use of a cognitive map will make it possible to determine the influence of the relevant subsystems of factors on the effective functioning of the port and, accordingly, to formulate the conditions for effective functioning. This approach is a tool for achieving goals through structured improvements within the company’s operating strategy.
Aim. Identification and assessment of factors in the evolution of the car tire market and development of proposals for its harmonization.
Methodology. The totality of the prerequisites for evolution is reduced to three factors: growth in sales and vehicle fleet; a reduction in the number of manufacturers and their production volumes; a shortage of chemical industry materials for the production of tires. The factors were ranked based on the significance criterion. The study is based on an array of statistical observation data for 2020–2023. Methods of factor and statistical analysis, as well as expert assessments, are used.
Results. The factors of evolution of the tire market have been identified, assessed and ranked. Based on the results of the study, proposals were formulated on measures to maintain the market in a state that meets the criteria of balance and increasing sovereignty in the provision of tire products.
Research implications. It consists of an integrated approach to solving the problem of balancing the market based on the development of domestic competencies and production while simultaneously rationally using foreign assets previously localized in the Russian Federation.
