Aim. This paper examines the impact of regional trade agreements on the welfare of member countries.
Methodology. In academic literature the results of the assessment of the consequences of concluding trade agreements for both individual companies and the countries involved are mixed. The main methods of research are observation, synthesis, interpretation of results and correlation analysis.
Results. A literature review has shown that the results of the assessment of trade agreements’ impact on welfare are mixed. The results of analysis with a sample of 196 countries showed that the number of regional trade agreements of which a country is a member is correlated with GDP per capita in the country, with the correlation coefficient being 0.5. However, there was find no correlation between the number of trade agreements and the GDP per capita growth rate in the countries analyzed.
Research implications. The results obtained show that a more differentiated analysis of the impact of trade agreements is needed. In practice, an unquestionably positive assessment of integration should be replaced by a more balanced approach.
Aim. Improving the existing organizational model, as well as control and management processes in the context of the replacement of the technological structure, considering changes caused by the digitalization of the economy.
Methodology. The article examines the essence and features of technological structures and the nature of their replacement using theoretical and systemic analysis. When conducting research within the framework of dialectical, historical, systemic and integrated approaches to scientific knowledge of the problems under consideration, methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction and other methods of processing and summarizing information were used. When studying the impact of the process of substitution of the technological structure and digitalization of the economy on relations between subjects of the labor market, methods of systemic, comparative and SWOT analysis were used.
Results. The article examines the concept and components of technological structures, the features of the process of replacing a technological structure; analyzes the nature of changes in the relationships between participants in market relations in the conditions of replacement of a technological structure, and proposes an approach to assessing the efficiency of personnel in the conditions of digitalization of the economy. It is concluded that in the final phase of the cycle of the fifth technological order, the processes of labor and management organization will differ from what they were in its initial phase. The importance of the fact of continuity between technological structures and information technologies is noted as the main factor in the transition to the sixth technological structure. It is proposed to use a temporary model for assessing labor results, which will allow monitoring and motivating virtual teams representing a new class of workers adapted to the digital environment.
Theoretical and practical significance. The main theoretical and methodological features of the analysis of technological structures considered in the scientific article, from the point of view of theoretical approaches, complement the existing concepts of both domestic and foreign authors, which contributes to a better analysis of socio-economic processes in the economy of modern Russia in the context of the formation of a market management system.
Aim. To substantiate the possibilities of applying the theory of transaction costs as a scientific and methodological basis for determining the form and method of entry of Russian companies into foreign markets.
Methodology. The theoretical basis of the study was provided by scientific works of Russian and foreign scientists, devoted to both economic theory in general and the institutional direction of economic science in particular. The following scientific methods were applied during the research: bibliographic analysis, system analysis, as well as methods of deduction and induction, comparison and analogy.
Results. The scientific article presents the key characteristics of the theory of transaction costs, gives a brief description of the peculiarities of foreign economic activity of Russian companies, presents the tools of the theory of transaction costs in the interests of determining the most effective forms of foreign economic expansion. The authors conclude that in the light of the dominance of raw material companies in the Russian economy, which are characterized by vertical integration, the application of the theory of transaction costs is seen as particularly relevant.
Research implications. The material presented in the article expands and complements the theory of transaction costs in relation to foreign economic activity of Russian enterprises.
REGIONAL AND SECTORAL ECONOMY
Aim. Development of practical recommendations to improve the labor motivation system for Sales Department personnel.
Methodology. When writing the article, analysis and synthesis, expert assessments, questionnaires, interviews, observation and other research methods were used to analyze and assess the effectiveness of the motivation system.
Results. The need to study motivation (including labor motivation) in an interdisciplinary manner is justified. It is quite obvious that without decent motivation of the work of the sales department personnel in the company, there can be no question of any serious and high-quality breakthrough in the segment under consideration.
Research implications. Is that the developed recommendations can be used by trading enterprises to effectively manage personnel and increase their competitiveness.
Aim. Development of a set of digital innovative solutions in the field of production of machinebuilding enterprises at the level of the workshop structure.
Methodology. The research methodology is based on the following methods: content analysis of documents, graphic modeling, paired comparisons, construction of morphological matrices, nominal groups, analysis, comparison, diagnostic approach, interpretation of research results and some others.
Results. A set of digital innovative solutions was proposed in the field of production of machinebuilding enterprises at the level of the workshop structure, including the following phases: interface; booking components; changing open orders (splitting an order, changing the order size); calculation of order priorities.
Research implications. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the developed complex of digital innovative solutions makes it possible to implement the following functions: issuing orders for production; issuing production tasks for groups of workplaces; accounting for the movement of orders for detail operations; issuing information on the progress of production upon request.
Aim. To investigate the dependence of the positive image of the company on the activity in social networks, to develop a strategy for running a social network using entertainment mechanics.
Methodology. The complex use of comparative, formal-logical methods, method of systematization and generalization of the material determine the methodology. As part of the study, the practice of forming the image of the Concern was studied and analyzed.
Results. As a result of the study, the use of entertainment mechanics in social networks has been confirmed to have a positive effect on the formation of the image and impeccable reputation of the Concern. To solve the problem, as well as to attract and retain more subscribers and increase the online reputation of the Concern, a strategy has been developed to improve the management of the VKontakte social network.
Research implications. It consists in a comprehensive review of methods and modern approaches to PR activities; in the development and practical application of the proposed measures and research results by the management of the Concern.
The vast majority of management decisions made in the sanatorium and resort industry, as well as various studies of the functioning of the resort business, are made without regard to the laws of its development as an integral system. This does not allow to ensure the integrity of the idea of the resort business, to overcome the isolation when considering its traditional components, to reveal the relationship between individual areas of work with industry-wide problems.
Aim. To explore the resort business as a system, to give a modern concept of the resort system, to reveal the goals and functions, its composition and structure.
Methodology. Observations were made and a qualitative analysis of the functioning of the sanatorium and resort industry was carried out using the data of domestic researchers, the organizational and legal foundations of the sanatorium and resort activities in Russia were analyzed. The main methods of studying the problem are: generalization, analysis, systematization, deduction.
Results. The modern concept of “resort system” is disclosed, its most important characteristics and structure are identified and defined.
Research implications. The results of the study will be useful to scientists specializing in research on various aspects of the resort business, managers and specialists of the authorities that manage the sanatorium and resort area.
Aim. Identification of problems of meso-economic security of new regions in the process of their integration into the economic space of the Russian Federation.
Methodology. The study was conducted on the basis of a comparative-historical comprehensive analysis of the conceptual directions that ensure the economic security of new regions. General scientific methods, comparative and functional analysis were used to solve the tasks set in the work.
Results. The main scientific results were obtained through comprehensive studies of the sources of threats to the economic security of new regions, problems of integration processes were identified, tools for managing regional economic security were identified, and the process of implementing socio-economic development of new regions was considered.
Research implications in the study of the problems of mesoeconomical security of new regions, the interpretations of the economic security of the region are analyzed. The reasons for the emergence of threats to economic security are considered. The mesoeconomical security management tools have been identified, which will allow overcoming the problems of integration processes of new regions into the socio-economic space of the Russian Federation.
Aim. The purpose of this study is the impact of transport tax on improving the environmental situation and maintaining road infrastructure in a megapolis.
Methodology. An assessment was made of the number of vehicles recorded in the database of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for taxpayers for the tax periods 2016–2022, and the age structure of the main vehicles was shown.
Results. A number of environmental benefits when using a transport tax are substantiated, and it is also proven that with the help of a transport tax it is possible to finance and develop road infrastructure in a metropolis.
Research implications is that transport tax plays an important role in generating state budget revenues, which are then used to support and develop transport infrastructure, regulate environmental impact and ensure road safety. However, in addition to favorable factors, transport also has a significant impact on the environment and requires significant financial investments for the maintenance and development of transport infrastructure.
Aim. Research of specific features, key indicators and actual problems of implementation of publicprivate partnership (hereinafter – PPP) projects in the transport sector of Russia at the present stage of development.
Methodology. The methodological basis of the study was made up of general scientific methods of cognition of economic processes and phenomena, in particular, the analysis method (contributed to the identification of the results of the implementation of transport projects in the modern PPP market), the synthesis method (ensured the unification into a single whole of the specific features of PPP transport projects), the expert evaluation method (contributed to the proposal of measures to solve urgent problems of the implementation of PPP transport projects), logical methods (contributed to determining the prospects for the development of PPP in the transport sector of Russia).
Results. The features and key indicators of the implementation of PPP transport projects are identified and systematized. The actual problems and directions of the progressive development of PPP in the transport sector of Russia are highlighted.
Research implications. The theoretical significance lies in the development of the scientific foundations of the use of PPP in the transport sector. The practical significance is connected with the possibility of using the results obtained when making decisions to ensure the effective implementation of PPP transport projects in Russia.
Aim. The article is devoted to the study of intelligent systems and mechanisms that help an enterprise to quickly respond to changes in the external environment in competitive conditions.
Methodology. The research examines the methods of adaptation of industrial enterprises to changes in the external environment as one of the serious strategic advantages in competition in order to meet market demand and achieve stable competitive positions.
Results. Based on the results of the study, the need to develop new architectures of production systems with a high level of flexibility, new principles of organization and management of technological processes, including the creation of enterprises based on flexible production systems, is justified.
Research implications. It is shown that for modern diversified industrial enterprises, the desire to increase production efficiency occurs due to the intensification and end-to-end automation of technological operations, computerization of technological and business processes, their coordination with transportation, warehousing and management operations along the entire chain of inter-company interaction and cooperation.
